About Paul

My career has spanned multiple roles across broadcasting and local government sectors.

I’ve held announcing, station and programme operations management roles in commercial radio. In local government my roles have covered libraries electronic services, web development and social media management. I have also held roles in destination city marketing and city events.

A common theme across many roles has been quickly embracing and understanding new technology, then implementing creative solutions using this technology to improve customer services and experience.

At present I work in a marketing role for a local authority. I develop and implement campaigns that promote the facilities, services and regulatory functions offered to customers. I work across print, online, social, and on-air channels.

You can find out more about me professionally at LinkedIn.

When I’m not juggling raising my family, I enjoy cycling, gardening and walking. My hobbies include amateur ‘ham’ radio, low power FM broadcasting and several retro computing technologies. I also help with the administration and maintenance of several community group websites.
